Leander ISD will host several public meetings in May to solicit public opinions about a possible attendance zoning option when the district's future Tom Glenn High School opens in fall 2016.
The district plans to present Scenario N to the public for feedback. Scenario N is a draft of a possible zoning option that is subject to change, according to LISD. At the board's April 16 meeting, LISD Superintendent Bret Champion said Scenario N is a "starting point" for conversation within the district. Parents and community members may also provide feedback on the district's rezoning website.
LISD's board of trustees have discussed attendance zoning options for months before the public meetings. The board decided April 16 to present Scenario N to the public in May.
