Leander ISD continues to host its Child Nutrition Services Summer Job Fair series with an event Tuesday. The fair is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the district’s Support Services Building, 1900 Cougar Country Drive, Cedar Park. “The Child Nutrition Services employees play a vital role in the LISD education process and daily operations of our school district,” a district statement stated. “Come play a role in developing young lives, and be a part of Williamson County’s largest employer.” During the school year, Child Nutrition Services staff serve 3.1 million meals to LISD students, more than 1 million pieces of fresh fruit, 6,100 pounds of fresh baby spinach and 3.5 million baby carrots each year.
