Leander City Councilman David Siebold
Leander City Councilman David Siebold was appointed April 30 to Capital Metro's board of directors, replacing outgoing member and Volente Mayor Justine Blackmore-Hlista.
Blackmore-Hlista was appointed in August 2010 and served as Capital Metro's representative on the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.
"I want to thank Justine Blackmore-Hlista for her service on the Capital Metro board," said Mike Martinez, Capital Metro chairman and Austin City councilman. "She truly took a regional approach to mobility improvements in our community. On behalf of the entire board, I welcome Dave Siebold to Capital Metro and look forward to working with him to continue Capital Metro's progress."
