Concordia University Texas on May 9 will host attenders of the 15th annual Leadercast conference in Atlanta that will broadcast live to 600 sites in 40 nations.
Among Leadercast's guest speakers are former First Lady Laura Bush and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. University organizers said Leadercast is the world's largest convergence of leaders and is intended to change the way the world thinks about leadership in all sectors of life.
Melinda Brasher, associate vice president of communications, said about 250 conference attenders will fill Building A on Concordia's Austin campus. Some attenders will be Concordia students and other attenders are from Leander and Pflugerville public schools, Brasher said.
"We are very close to [being] sold out," she said. "We anticipate the event to be full by Friday."
