The Cedar Park City Council approved several proclamations on April 12 honoring the city's various public safety groups.
April 8-14 was National Public Safety Telecommunications Week and National Animal Control Appreciation Week.
Members of Cedar Park's Public Safety Communications Division and Animal Control Unit were on hand to accept the proclamation from Mayor Bob Lemon.
National Crime Victims' Right Week will be held April 22-28. Members of the Cedar Park Police Department were on hand to accept the proclamation.
