Julie Corson said she wants to help people, and she wants to make that help affordable to everyone.
Corson is the executive director of Restore Transform in Cedar Park, a nonprofit that offers faith-based therapy, focusing on the connection between body and mind. Its services include counseling and nutritional coaching as well as acupuncture, chiropractic services, massage therapy and fitness classes.
Corson, an advanced certified biblical counselor and certified nutritional therapist, started Restore Transform in 2011 out of her home.
“At that time, there weren’t many places around that offered faith-based counseling for a low cost,” she said. “We were filling a niche and a need.”
