The Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation’s new executive director will be Kristen Huguley, according to a statement from Leander ISD on Aug. 10. Huguley previously worked as executive director of Texas Humane Heroes. LEEF is a nonprofit that provides resources supporting literacy, teaching grants and initiatives to build college and career readiness in Leander ISD. www.leeftx.org
