Featuring freshly cut Fraser fir trees from North Carolina, Brungot Farms will sell Christmas trees, handmade wreaths, pure maple syrup and other holiday products at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA in Cedar Park beginning Nov. 21 as well as at other locations during the holiday season.
“We want to create an experience that’s as close to going to a [choose-and-cut] Christmas tree farm as possible,” said owner Aaron Brungot, whose childhood memories of Christmas in New Hampshire are centered around traditions such as choosing a family tree in the forest.
The trees will be arranged on custom-designed racks so shoppers can walk through the simulated forest and choose their favorite, Brungot said. The display will also include holiday lights and a designated area for taking family photos, he said. Brungot also sells tree stands for heavier trees.
Now in its second year of operation, Brungot Farms will again donate a portion of proceeds to the YMCA, Brungot said, adding that he left a 16-year career with a technology company to pursue his dream of owning a Christmas tree farm, supporting children and helping families create happy memories.
