Mom walk and pottery painting: 4 Austin area events to check out Jan. 2-4

Moms and mothers-to-be are invited to a monthly walk for fresh air and connection with others. On the first Friday of each month, moms from all walks of life can bring their babies to Brushy Creek Sports Park for an outdoor event.

Tiffany Harris, a community vitality coordinator with the city of San Marcos, and Tiffany Harrison Quibodeaux, a membership development executive with the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce, will hold a networking event to help residents grow their business and revenue.

Buda-area residents can tap into their creativity at the Inspired Minds Art Center and paint a pottery piece of their choice. Each artwork will be fired in a kiln and available for pickup one to two weeks later.
