The 2026 Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo will feature a wide variety of livestock events and family-friendly fun throughout the weekend of Oct. 23-25. Here is a list of what to expect over the three-day event.
Admission pricing is as follows:
$10 (general admission)
Free (admission, 10 years and younger)
$30 (adult rodeo admission)
$20 (child rodeo admission)
Oct. 23:
Livestock Judging Contest
In the contest, which is open to junior and senior divisions, eight classes of livestock will be judged with a set of predetermined questions. Participants in Future Farmers of America or 4-H must compete in their respective divisions regardless of age or affiliation.
Mutton Bustin’
Aged 3 to 7 and weighing less than 55 pounds, children will ride on the back of a sheep and see how long they can hang on.
Brazos Valley Children’s Business Fair
Children ages 7-15 can learn about entrepreneurship while developing and selling products to patrons at the fair. The event will feature 30 unique booths.
Carnival
The fair’s carnival will feature rides, concessions and games for patrons of all ages.
Rodeo show
The United Professional Rodeo Association Finals competition brings together the top men and women for bull riding and barrel racing, along with other rodeo mainstay events.
The concert of the day will feature country music artist Randall King.
Oct. 24:
Junior Goat Show
4-H and FFA members will gather to show off the best goats for a split $1,000 prize and other rewards.
Junior Heifer Show
4-H and FFA members will gather to show off the best heifers for a split $1,000 prize and other rewards.
Junior Lamb Show
4-H and FFA members will gather to show off the best lambs for a split $1,000 prize and other rewards.
Parade of Breeds
At the parade, which features 15-20 horse breed representatives, fair patrons can learn about various horse breeds, interact with riders and take photos.
Carnival
The fair’s carnival will feature rides, concessions and games for patrons of all ages.
Brazos Valley Children’s Business Fair
Children ages 7-15 can learn about entrepreneurship while developing and selling products to patrons at the fair. The event will feature 30 unique booths.

The fair’s carnival will feature rides, concessions and games for patrons of all ages.

All three days of the fair will also feature a petting zoo, pony rides and education about agriculture in Texas.
