From live music to painting, there are several events taking place in Aggieland this August. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
Live Music at Cavalry Court
Dallas alternative folk rock musician Courtney Elayna will play live at the Canteen Bar & Grill. Guests can enjoy light bites, handcrafted cocktails and music.
Largest Gun Show in Texas
A three-day gun show event will be hosted at Legends Event Center, featuring 1,500 tables and showcases.

Aggieland Farmers Market
Patrons can get fresh and organic produce, meats and other artisanal goods while listening to live music in the parking lot of the Post Oak Mall. The Aggieland Farmers Market is a rain or shine event, featuring 80% farmers’ goods and 20% others.
Cards, Comics & Collectibles Expo
Collectors are invited to the Brazos County Expo Complex to see a weekend-long show bringing together a mix of sports cards, Pokémon, comics, memorabilia and toys and gaming treasures among other offerings. According to the city, “every table tells a story.”
Open Mic Night at The Palace Theatre
Local talent and supporters are invited to the Palace Theatre in downtown Bryan every Wednesday.
McCoy Songwriters Series
Hotel McCoy is inviting local musicians to play their original songs on Fridays in the courtyard.
