This weekend will hold lots of community events across Bryan-College Station, Oct. 8-11. A few happenings to look forward to include the Bryan TX Songwriter Festival in Historic Downtown Bryan, Corgi races at the Museum of the American G.I. in College Station and a "biketober" ride between the cities.

Tone 360 10th birthday
The local fitness studio is hosting a community event with vendors and a raffle benefitting Pink Alliance of Brazos Valley with prizes. Co-owner Kaleigh Bowman told Community Impact visitors can expect a live DJ, free classes all day and local vendors.
Tee Off for Chosen
A fundraiser benefitting faith-based nonprofit Chosen 210 will be hosted at Topgolf. The nonprofit distributes medical equipment to those in need across the Brazos Valley. Tickets include two hours of open play time, a fajita dinner and a silent auction.

Aggie Ring Dinner At Ronin Farm
A five-course family-style menu will be served at Ronin Farms, celebrating the fall semester's Aggie Ring Day.
Bryan TX Songwriter Festival
For its second year, this weekend festival will showcase local and rising names in country music. The weekend begins with a performance by Max & Heather Stalling at Free Main Stage.
American Patchwork Quartet concert
A 2025 Grammy nominee for Best Folk Album will open Friends of Chamber Music's 31st season at A&M United Methodist Church. According to the nonprofit organization, the group blends jazz, Asian, African and country influences to create its unique sound.

Operation Short Legs
Corgis and their human companions are invited to the Museum of the American G.I. for a day of Corgi races, a costume contest and an obstacle course among other fun activities.
Biketober
The cities of Bryan and College Station will host a community 8.6-mile bike ride, led by German sister city Greifswald's deputy mayor. Festivities will begin at College Station City Hall, where German-inspired food trucks and cultural expositions will greet cyclists and supporters. At the halfway point in the route, riders will stop at Bryan Midtown Park for a "wellness stop" and live German music.
The Active Texan Triathlon
A sprint triathlon benefitting the First Win Foundation will take place at Lake Walk. It includes a 400 meter swim, 12.7-mile bike route and a 3.1-mile run through the Lake Walk area.
