City offices in Bryan and College Station will be closed May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday.
Bryan Yard Dogs
The Bryan Yard Dogs will celebrate the opening weekend of the baseball team’s inaugural season with games against the Beaumont Oil Barons at Travis Field.
Movie night
Stage 12 at Brookshire Brothers will host a family-friendly movie night with “Inside Out." Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Vendor market
Hotel McCoy College Station and Market Off Main will have an evening of live music; local vendors selling handmade goods, art, treats and gifts; and a bar serving wine, beer and spirits.
May Laugh Out Loud Show
Brazos Valley TROUPE’s “The Oxymorons” presents its family-friendly improv comedy show.
Latin Dance Social
The local BCS Salsa Club Dancers will lead an evening of bachata and salsa for both seasoned and new dancers to join the dance floor. The event is open to ages 18 and older.
Remember the Fallen
The Museum of the American G.I. will hold a Memorial Day service with a 21-gun salute featuring three cannons.
Cartoon Afternoon
The Larry J. Ringer Library in College Station will welcome families for an afternoon of cartoons, including a few episodes of “Arthur” and “Weather Hunters,” accompanied by snacks.
Slide into Summer
The city of Bryan will kick off the summer with a family-friendly event featuring games and activities and commemorating the first recreational swim of the season. Children age 12 and younger must pass a swim test or wear an approved life jacket.
Memorial Day service
Bryan’s VFW Post #4692 will host a Memorial Day Service featuring a wreath laying ceremony, honor guard and light lunch in partnership with other local veteran service organizations.
