College Station ISD’s board of trustees approved several new positions tied to the district’s expanding career and technical education program during its March 17 meeting.

The positions were created to support new programs at the district’s new CTE center, which is set to open in the fall. The following programs are included:
These roles feature specialized instructors and support staff such as a nurse, custodian and a contracted security officer. Salaries and other specifics were not discussed during the meeting.
District officials said the expansion could bring financial benefits. College Station ISD students in CTE programs currently take classes at Bryan ISD. With the new CTE center, associated funding won’t leave the district, and offering those programs locally allows College Station ISD to keep those funds.

Trustees also unanimously approved continuing the district’s six existing strategic goals as part of the 2026-27 District Improvement Plan.
