An Amazon delivery station is officially operating in Bryan. The site is already processing thousands of packages per day as part of Amazon's "last-mile" delivery network, which is said to be the final step that brings orders to customers' doors.

Mayor Bobby Gutierrez joined company representatives for a ribbon cutting at the roughly 90,000-square-foot facility along Mumford Road, according to an April 24 Facebook post by the city.
Delivery stations receive packages from larger Amazon fulfillment and sorting centers before they are organized for local delivery routes. The Bryan location is expected to improve delivery speeds across Aggieland and surrounding communities while supporting new employment opportunities.
Gutierrez said the project reinforces the city's role as a growing logistics hub within the Texas Triangle. That triangle represents the metro areas of Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston, with Austin and Bryan-College Station in the surface area.
"This facility will drive meaningful economic opportunity while delivering the fast, reliable service today's economy demands," Gutierrez said in the city's post.
How we got here
Plans for Amazon to come to Bryan were first announced in September 2025. The city cited population growth and regional demands as reasons for Amazon to expand operations in the area.
At the time, Jessica Breaux with Amazon's economic development department said the station would help better serve the Brazos Valley by strengthening local distribution capacity.
Gutierrez also said the Bryan delivery station reflects continued economic growth in Brazos County and ongoing efforts to attract large employers and logistics investment to the region.
"We appreciate Amazon's confidence in Bryan and look forward to a strong, lasting partnership," he added.
