Local ice-house-style bar The 101 is transferring ownership after operating in Bryan since 2020.
How it happened
In a Facebook post, owner Jeremy Stark said the bar will continue operating as is with planned concerts before moving on to its next step.
Stark said Bryan has always called him back since he first moved here in 2006.
“Over the past twenty years in town, I've made and forgotten more than my fair share of memories. The past six years at the bar have been a whirlwind,” Stark said in his statement. “We still got a couple of months to do more good and forget the bad.”
