[gallery ids="444300"] The Texas Renaissance Festival returns for its 45th season Oct. 5, spanning nine weekends through Dec. 1. Located just north of the city of Magnolia, the 55-acre festival grounds welcome more than half a million guests each fall, according to festival officials. Festivalgoers can travel to a recreation of a 16th-Century European village, complete with live entertainment, shops and food.
