According to a project filing by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Rice Village is poised to welcome Figs as a new addition to the shopping center in late 2025.

Figs is an American clothing company that sells scrubs and other products for healthcare professionals. According to the Figs website, the business was founded in 2013 and is based in Santa Monica, California, with one other store in Philadelphia. The shop is now preparing to open two new stores in the United States, including one in New York and one in Houston.
Products sold both online and in store include scrub tops and pants for both men and women in a variety of colors, such as black, navy, royal blue, moss, burgundy, dandelion and lavender. Other items include underscrubs, outerwear, such as jackets and vests, and accessories, including scrub caps, headbands, compression socks, stethoscopes and masks.
