League City officials are expected to start asphalt work on a number of roads in October, which could cause minor interruptions to traffic on select streets.

As part of the city’s annual reinvestment program, League City officials budgeted money for asphalt street reconstruction, Sarah Osborne, director of communications and community engagement, said in a Sept. 10 email.
The project gives details on road packages six through 11 that will see work between now and fiscal year 2027-28, according to city documents. Packages one through five have already been completed, Osborne said.
