Kemah City Council is seeking applicants to fill City Council Position 4 following Lee Wallace's July 13 resignation.

Residents have until 5 p.m., July 24 to apply online to serve the remainder of Wallace’s term, which ends May 2027, per the city’s website.
Wallace said that he was resigning due to an ongoing health condition.

Voters elected Wallace to City Council in May 2025 after he ran against Paul Williams, according to previous reporting by Community Impact.
