The 30-year-old public boat ramp near the FM 270 bridge at Clear Creek in League City will be closed for renovations beginning Oct. 12, according to a social media post from the city.

The $2 million renovation project is partially funded through a grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
According to the post, the project will make the ramp safer and more accessible, and include:
Upgrades to all three boat ramps
New and improved docks
Bulkhead rehabilitation
Upgraded walkways and decking
New dock bumpers
Parking lot and sidewalk improvements
Enhanced accessibility throughout the facility
Looking ahead
The boat ramp is expected to reopen in spring 2027, according to the post.
