Phases I and II of Kemah’s 57-acre park and nature area, including a playground, will open to the public July 30 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to a city news release.

The ceremony, which will include a demonstration of the park’s features, words from city leaders and an opportunity for children to explore the new play equipment, will take place at 9 a.m. at 1860 Park Oaks St., Kemah.
