Communities in the Bay Area will host several meetings in late February and early March about Phase 1 of the Lower Clear Creek and Dickinson Bayou Watershed Study.
The Dickinson Bayou Watershed meeting will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 26 at Walter Hall Park, 807 N. Hwy. 3, League City.
The Lower Clear Creek Watershed meetings will be held 6 to 8 p.m. March 3 at the Bay Area Community Center, 5002 NASA Parkway, Seabrook; March 4 at Friendswood Junior High School, 1001 Mansion Parkway, Friendswood; and March 5 at the League City Civic Center, 400 W. Walker St., League City, according to a public notice.
At the meetings, plans to mitigate flooding in both watersheds will be presented, and residents will be able to provide feedback on which alternatives they prefer. Informational displays will be set up for residents to view, and study team representatives will provide information and answer questions. No formal presentations will be made, according to the notice.
