Two Republican candidates are running for Congressional District 14 in the upcoming March primaries.
The overview
Incumbent Randy Weber and Jessica Forgy will compete in the Republican nomination.
The winning Republican candidate will face the winner of the Democratic nomination in November, and the winner of that election will begin serving District 14 in January 2027.
Thurman Bill Bartie, Richard H. Davis and Konstantinos Vogiatzis are vying for the Democratic nomination.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives are elected for a two-year term with no term limits.
Following congressional redistricting, which will take effect in January 2027, District 14 will cover portions of southeast Houston into Galveston.
