Clear Creek ISD to begin 2024-25 District Education Improvement Committee

Parents and community members of Clear Creek ISD can participate in the 2024-25 District Education Improvement Committee, or DEIC.

What’s happening?

The DEIC serves in an advisory capacity to CCISD Superintendent Karen Engle and focuses on the following areas for the district:

• Planning
• Budgeting
• Curriculum
• Staffing patterns
• Professional learning
• School organization

While parents and community members are allowed to join, parent representatives must have a student enrolled in a CCISD school. Community members must reside within the district, according to CCISD’s website.

The committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Challenger Columbia Stadium Fieldhouse on the following dates:

• Sept. 17
• Oct. 22
• Nov. 19
• Dec. 10
• Feb. 18
• March 25
