New virtual reality arcade opens in La Porte

Level Zero VR, a virtual reality arcade, opened in La Porte in mid-June, owner Jurgen Makus said.

The details

The arcade can accommodate solo play and groups of up to eight players, Makus said. Walk-ins are welcome and the space can also be bought out for up to 12 hours or for two to six hours for parties, Makus said.

Games include escape rooms and shooting games, according to the business' website.

The space is BYOF and BYOB after 6 p.m., Makus said.

The cost

Pricing is as follows:

• 5 min. for $15
• 30 min. for $25
• 45 min. for $35
• 1 hour for $45

The arcade also offers a special where four guests can play for one hour for $100, Makus said.
