HomeTown Bank is marking 60 years of service with a week-long celebration in June at its locations in Friendswood, Pearland and League City, Marketing Coordinator Ashlyn Floyd said in an email.

To mark the milestone, the bank will host a week of celebrations, including free donuts to start the week, an ice cream truck on June 24, popcorn giveaways on June 25 and a special anniversary celebration on June 26 at its Main Bank, located at 1801 45th St., Galveston.

“Since 1966, HomeTown Bank has proudly served the financial needs of local families, and businesses throughout Galveston & Brazoria counties,” Floyd said in the email. “What began as Bank of Galveston has grown into a trusted community bank.”
