A Home2 Suites by Hilton could be coming to Kemah if City Council opts to approve an agreement put together by the Kemah Community Development Corporation, or KCDC.
The gist
On Jan. 15, Kemah City Council voted 4-1 for the first reading of a motion to use funds from the KCDC, which seeks to promote and retain business in Kemah, to construct the hotel.
The KCDC will contribute $90,000 towards permits and development costs for the building the hotel, which will have 84 suites, according to agenda documents.
