Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center officials invite the public to explore Bastrop’s history at the historic Fairview Cemetery.
What’s happening
Two one-hour expeditions will be offered on Oct. 26, where docents will lead visitors on a guided walking tour through the cemetery.
In a news release, museum spokesperson Rachel Hatch said actors will be spread throughout the grounds, bringing to life the stories of some of Bastrop’s former residents and how they influenced the county’s history.
