As part of October's National Disability Awareness Month, Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area and the Bastrop Public Library will partner to host a job fair Oct. 8, focused on hiring people with disabilities.
What you need to know
According to an announcement by WSRCA, the job fair will offer attendees the opportunity to meet with dozens of local employers and get hired on the spot.

A virtual workshop to learn how to create a cover letter will also happen Oct. 8.
Topics for other free upcoming workshops include building effective resumes, salary negotiations, overcoming employment barriers, pivoting your career and more.
