Local nonprofit Bastrop Live Music Foundation will partner with Bastrop Parks and Recreation to offer a free, family-friendly event showcasing local music Feb. 27.

Created in 2022 by Bastrop actor and musician Robert Kraft, BLMF works with local venues to bring shows to Bastrop.
The group also provides individualized mentorship and lessons to young local musicians through the nonprofit's Music Mentors program.
