First day of school in Bastrop ISD is Aug. 13, other dates to know

Bastrop ISD will open its doors to more than 13,000 students for the first day of the 2025-26 school year Aug. 13.

Looking ahead

Check out some important dates for BISD students.

• The first student holiday will be Sept. 1.
• Thanksgiving break is a full week Nov. 24-28.
• Winter break will start Dec. 19, and classes will resume Jan. 7.
• The last day of school is May 21.
