Conversions of both Bastrop and Cedar Creek Intermediate School campuses to middle schools is tracking on schedule, Bastrop ISD administrators shared in May.

Projects to add 21,000 square foot additions to the two schools were about 30% of the way to completion, said Lee Raspberry, BISD's director of planning and construction, in a May 13 bond construction update.
Renovations will be complete around the middle of the 2025-26 school year, Raspberry said, with students moving into those expanded spaces after the winter holidays.
