A July 22 town hall focused on EdgeConneX, Pacifico Energy and Amazon Data Services. If projects from all three companies move forward, more than 5,500 acres in Cedar Creek would be tied to data center development.

Bastrop County commissioners will hold a public hearing July 27 on proposed tax-abatement guidelines. Under the draft, applicants would be required to disclose potential environmental effects and create at least 25 full-time jobs, with at least 25% filled by Bastrop County residents.
