April joined Community Impact in February 2023 and served as the editor of the Lake Travis-Westlake edition until she transitioned into a senior reporter role in January 2024. Previously, she worked as an editor for Chive Media Group. She has also worked for more than a decade as a reporter, a photographer and an editor for local newspapers and magazines in Louisiana, Arkansas, Wyoming and Texas. When she isn’t working, she enjoys attending live music events and curating her playlists.
