Summer joined Community Impact in June 2024 as an intern covering the DFW metro. She attends Reedy High School in Frisco and is set to graduate in May 2025. She hopes to pursue a master's degree in creative media production. Prior to CI, she was a lead reporter and director for OPENDen News at Reedy High School.
