Hot temps in the triple digits return to Central Texas.[/caption]
From Fox 7 Weather Meteorologist Chelsea Andrews:
High pressure will be the main driver of the Central Texas weather pattern through the next few days, reinforcing an overall dry and hot pattern.
Hot afternoons featuring triple-digit heat will be followed by warm, summer nights as lows cool into the upper 70s.
Through the weekend, heat index readings could be as high as 108 degrees. Heat safety will be crucial for those with outdoor plans.
By Sunday, the ridge of high pressure will begin to drift east, easing our daytime temperatures a few degrees into the upper 90s.
Early next week, the sea-breeze coming off the Gulf of Mexico will help to push a few spotty showers and thunderstorms towards the I-35 corridor.
