The southwest corner of MoPac and Davis Lane will soon be home to a new clinic, known as the Seton Family of Doctors, according to public relations representatives for Seton Healthcare Family. The clinic will be part of the Waterleaf Medical Center, which is located across the street. The 20,500-square-foot building is slated to open in June and will consist of a walk-in clinic and primary care for scheduled appointments on the first floor, and office space for adult and pediatric Seton specialists on the second floor. Pediatric services will include gastroenterology and endocrinology. Trac Bledsoe of B3 Commercial Investments, one of the developers for the project, said despite difficulties in building new developments in Southwest Austin due to protected lands, Seton has had success in delivering medical care to patients in the area. "The whole idea is getting medical practices out to where the patients are, which is what the development is about," Bledsoe said. The clinic, under construction at 5301-B Davis Lane, will share a lot with the Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center. On the northwest corner of Davis and MoPac is the Waterleaf Medical Center, home to Balcones Pain, the Genorite Pharmacy and the Waterleaf Surgery Center. Directly adjacent to the Waterleaf complex is the future home of Autumn Leaves, a memory care clinic being developed by the Dallas-based LaSalle Group.
