8 road updates for Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Buda

Project: The county will construct a four-lane divided roadway spanning 1.7 miles from the Sawyer Ranch roundabout to RM 1826. The 2016 road bond funded the schematic design of this project.

The design was funded by the 2016 bond, and the county was recently awarded $3.84 million in Carbon Reduction Grant Funding from CAMPO, who will work as a regional partner on the project.

Project: Hays County is working to construct 1.3 miles of shared-use path from Meadow Creek Drive to the Sawyer Ranch roundabout. This project will allow Dripping Springs ISD students to travel to and from the DSISD complex.
