Homes in the Southwest Austin and Dripping Springs market saw less closed sales in January 2025 compared to January 2024, while prices slightly increased and homes continued to spend more time on the market year over year, according to data from the
Austin Board of Realtors.

A plurality of homes sold in Southwest Austin and Dripping Springs were in the $500,000 to $699,999 price range in January. This is higher than
last month, in which a plurality of homes sold were in the $300,000 to $699,999 price range.
Homes spent 19.7% more time on the market year over year.
Home sales decreased by 5.45% year over year, with three ZIP codes seeing a decrease. However, homes in 78736 and 78739 saw major year-over-year increases in sales.
