The Amarillo-based tea franchise operates in 14 states and is projected to have 500 locations open by the end of 2026, according to a news release.
The Dripping Springs location is owned by Michael and Christie Sanders, who have lived in Dripping Springs for over 20 years. Christie Sanders will serve as the store’s general manager.
HTeaO serves 26 flavors of iced teas that can be combined, including the “mix of the month.” The restaurant also serves coffee, including a chai tea latte and iced horchata. Snacks, home brew kits, ground coffee and whole bean coffee are also offered at every location.
The tea is purified with a reverse osmosis process, then polished with minerals.
“This is high-quality tea at an affordable price,” said Christie Sanders.
The new location includes a double drive-thru, and inside guests can self-serve as well as choose from a variety of fresh fruit to include in their drink.
To celebrate its grand opening, HTeaO will be offering half off all cups of teas during opening weekend and half-price gallons until June 16. Tea happy hour occurs every day from 2 to 4 p.m.
HTeaO will also host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce on May 31 at 10 a.m.
“We have been preparing to open our HTeaO location for the last two years, and we are looking forward to finally having the opportunity to serve our community as we celebrate our grand opening,” Christie Sanders said in a news release.
