What’s happening
Pins Austin will open in what was previously planned to be St. Elmo Public Market. Pins Mechanical bought the renovated warehouse in November 2023, according to previous reporting from Community Impact. The market had been sitting empty since its completion in 2022.
The features
The entertainment venue will offer duckpin bowling, arcade games, pinball, a giant light bright pegboard, yard games and more. There will also be three full-service bars with beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails.
Guests will be able to bring their own food, have it delivered to the venue or order from food trucks onsite, said Sirena Frost, communications manager for Rise Brands, Pins Mechanical’s parent company.
Frost also said they are adding a mezzanine level to the building for more bowling lanes and private event space.
“We tried to be a little bit more dynamic with the space as well, so we're really incorporating not just the three full-service bars but also just really good curated patio spaces with fire pits,” Frost said. “We're really aiming for more of that cozy, laid-back vibe where people can come and gather and have a good drink and have fun.”
Pins Austin will be family-friendly during the day and open to ages 21+ after 9 p.m. The venue will also be pet-friendly.
