Blue Gardenia Boutique will open in Parkside Village in Circle C Ranch in May.

The boutique is locally owned by Bethany Pendleton. The store will sell women's clothing, accessories and gifts. She said she thinks the area needs a local one-stop shop for apparel and gifts.

"I feel like I don't have a go-to place to find what I'm looking for, so that's my goal," Pendleton said. "My goal is to bring to Southwest Austin a, 'I know, I'm going to find something that's going to be perfect for me' place."

Pendleton said the boutique will offer unique brands customers might only be able to buy online as well as jewelry and other items from Austin artisans. Blue Gardenia Boutique will also host quarterly events, such as permanent jewelry pop-ups and candle pouring.
