Chipotle Mexican Grill opened at the end of 2023 in Dripping Springs. The fast casual restaurant offers bowls, tacos and burritos made-to-order in front of the customer. The location includes a "Chipotlane" drive-thru pickup space for online orders.Slice Street Pizza opened near downtown Dripping Springs at the end of 2023. Slice Street offers New York- and Detroit-style pizza, including pizza by the slice. The menu also includes salads, grilled cheeses and bottled beverages. Currently in its soft opening, the pizza place will celebrate its grand opening Jan. 13. The business features a drive-thru, takeout and delivery only.Pet boarding facility Pet Paradise is now open in Dripping Springs. In addition to cat and dog boarding, the facility offers day camp for pets, grooming and in-house veterinary clinics.Coming soon

Playa Bowls will open a location in the new Ledgestone development in Dripping Springs in 2024. The franchise offers acai, pitaya, coconut bowls and smoothies. The location will be owned by Austin local Marc Pollack and his sons Jake and Jordyn.In the news

Blue Sage Resort & Spa is a resort that will feature 57 cabins, a pool, wellness center, restaurant and event space, according to a permit filed with the state. Construction is estimated to be completed in 2026. The resort comes from the same team at the Colton House Hotel in Austin, said David Krug of Krug Development, who was only able to confirm that a permit had been filed for the resort as of now.

The PREP School of Headwaters will offer a private preschool near the Headwaters development in Dripping Springs, according to a project filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Representatives of PREP did not respond for comment as of press time. According to the permit, the school will be completed in 2024.Chick-fil-A celebrated five years in Belterra Village in January. The fast-food restaurant serves a variety of chicken sandwiches, salads, waffle fries and milkshakes.
