Eyecare Studio, an independent optometry practice owned by Dr. Priya Patel, opened Aug. 1 at 333 Hwy. 290, Ste. 419, Dripping Springs.

The practice specializes in myopia control and ocular diseases for age 4 and up. The practice is certified in the only Food and Drug Administration-approved treatment of myopia progression, Patel said.
