Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the St. David’s Foundation, a health foundation in partnership with St. David’s HealthCare, has launched the St. David’s Foundation COVID-19 Recovery Fun, which will provide $10 million in grants for nonprofits in Central Texas.

This economic relief is provided in an effort to support nonprofits impacted by the pandemic by providing immediate and intermediate needs to organizations working with the most vulnerable communities impacted by COVID-19, according to an April 16 press release sent by St. David’s Foundation.

Nonprofits in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson Counties may benefit from the St. David's Foundation COVID-19 Recovery Fund if organizations meet the required criteria.

To be eligible for grant funds, nonprofits must be a 501(c)(3) organization and meet other requirements. Priority in funds will be given to organizations that work with direct service providers including healthcare, human services, mental health, food insecurity and others.
