A-Tan Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar closes in San Marcos; OTSU Sushi coming soon

A-Tan Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar has closed its San Marcos location at 407 Stagecoach Trail, Ste. 101. A-Tan's other shops in New Braunfels and Seguin remain open for business.

The restaurant, located off Wonder World Drive near I-35, served Asian dishes, such as sushi, soups and bento boxes. It opened in January 2016.


OTSU Sushi, named for the capital city of the Shiga Prefecture in Japan, will open in A-Tan's San Marcos location under new ownership.

The total number of in-person students throughout the district's campuses went from 3,523 on Jan. 25 to 4,712 on Feb. 11—a 33.75% increase.
