Seven new cases of coronavirus confirmed on May 5 in Hays County

Hays County has two consecutive days of seven new coronavirus cases. (Community Impact staff)

Hays County reported 183 confirmed cases of coronavirus on May 5, with 1,961 tests administered in the county. The numbers include 67 active cases and 115 patients who have recovered. Currently, seven of 18 patients remain hospitalized and there has been one death reported in the county.
