Kyle City Council approves incentive agreement for locally owned HTeaO

HTeaO is bringing its flavored teas to Kyle.

Kyle City Council approved a Chapter 380 First Year on Us incentive agreement in an amount not to exceed $10,000 on Feb. 6.

According to the city's economic development website, the First Year on Us is a commercial development plan that allows owner-occupied businesses to apply for a one-time tax rebate of up to $10,000 for property improvements. The city will rebate $1 for every new tax dollar generated up to $10,000.

The HTeaO will be locally owned and operated by two families who have lived in Kyle for over 20 years, according to the presentation.

HTeaO offers sweet and unsweet iced-tea flavors and coffee. The Kyle location will also have a drive-thru.
