Buda Biscuit & Baking Co., Devil Dog Coffee Co. and Uncle Buda all relocated to BTX Business Park, located at 1095 FM 1626, Buda, on March 1. All three trucks relocated from 12406 Old San Antonio Road, Manchaca.
Julia Borregales opened Buda Biscuit & Baking Co. in January 2022 after months of baking and selling baked goods through Instagram. Opening the truck took a few months, but she hit one year of business in January. Borregales sells baked goods, such as biscuits and gravy, scones and muffins. The menu also features breakfast sandwiches like the the maple sausage sandwich which comes with a sausage patty, Meunster cheese, sweet and savory maple aioli, and an egg on a brioche bun.
Devil Dog Coffee Co. is a veteran-owned and -operated company founded by Eric Gates. Gates is a Marine Corps veteran and former Austin police officer. Gates has been selling coffee beans for several years but launched the coffee truck in late 2021.
Coffee beans, cold brew and other merchandise are available to purchase online and at the truck. The coffee truck also offers coffee drinks, such as mochas, lattes, cold brews and more.
Husband and wife Benjamin and Jenelle Wilson opened Uncle Buda food truck in August after months of delays and renovations. The truck specializes in Japanese-style Western and comfort food as seen in the menu with items such as curry with rice, katsu curry, gyoza and more.
